Christmas Wreath Making Workshop
Saturday 06 December 2025, 15.00-17.30
In this workshop you will create your own beautiful Christmas wreath from scratch, using entirely natural materials. I’ll show you how to create the framework for your wreath, using evergreen foliage, and then you can choose from a wide variety of natural materials to make a stunning decoration for your front door or Christmas table. All materials including the wreath base, foliage and decorations will be provided, though you’re also welcome to bring your own materials to add on. A glass of fizz and a sweet treat is included in the workshop as well.
This workshop takes place at The Green Brush art studio in Watermael Boitsfort.

- Step-by-step hands-on guide to taking a cutting, which you can then take home with you!
- Different techniques for creating new plants for free or very cheaply, including growing from seed, dividing and layering

Gardening Masterclass for Beginners
What are the most important things you need to do to have a beautiful and healthy garden? This workshop gives you the essential knowledge you need to get started! You will learn:
- How to understand your soil type and what it means for your plants
- What your plants need to grow well, from feeding to watering and mulching
- How to make your own compost
- Right plant, right place: how to chose the plants that will thrive in your garden!

Create beautiful borders
Designing a border with plants can be hard, but this workshop will help you understand the elements of design that go into creating beautiful borders, and how you can put that into practice in your own garden! You will learn:
- The design principles that go into making a border that works visually
- How to use colour effectively using the colour wheel
- How to plan for a long season of interest
- How to select the right plants so that your border succeeds in the conditions in your garden.
- How to create a basic border design on paper

Garden Consultations & Coaching Sessions
As an experienced garden designer, I provide a garden consultation service and/or some regular garden coaching to help you learn that basics of how to look after your garden and make your plants thrive. Both the consultation and the coaching can be tailored around exactly what you need to help you in your gardening efforts: creating new borders, choosing plants suitable for your site, advice on maintaining your garden or tips on how to create a vegetable growing area…
A garden consultation includes a visit to your garden, a full discussion of all the issues you are facing and lots of ideas, advice and suggestions. The cost is €140 +VAT. Available all year, contact me for more details.
